Prior to applying
- Ensure the surface area is cleaned thoroughly (ideally with isopropyl alcohol).
Applying
- The film can be fitted either dry
- Floating the film onto the surface using a squeegee and a light spray.
- We recommend a small spray bottle (about 100-150ml with a fine mist nozzle)
- filled with water and 3-5 drops of baby shampoo mixed in to reduce the surface tension
- squeegee out the excess water from under the tape.
One applied
- The tape should be left for 24-48 hours for the adhesive bond to fully develop.
Tips
If using water, please ensure all excess water is dispersed from under the film once in position, using a clean cloth. This process can be repeated a number of times until the desired position is met.
The film forms a permanent bond, but can be removed at any time leaving a residue-free surface. If wishing to do this apply a heat source such as a hairdryer and gently peel off the film.
